Gestüt Etzean bred MONTEVERDI booked his first career point in his third time out at Dortmund today. The colt by PROTECTIONIST delivered a great gate-to-wire run in the 2400 metres Preis der Hamburger Derby Woche and secured an easy win by one and three quarter lengths. Eduardo Pedroza was in the saddle of MONTEVERDI, who Andreas Wöhler prepares for owner syndicate Stall Turffighter in Gütersloh.
